Hello, my name is Adam Perfect.
Designer
I've been designing and building websites for over a decade (since 1998!). I started early while still at school, designing a couple of popular video game community sites (Haloplayers and Breedplayers), then designing and building my own web apps before working for a couple of agencies in the North East of England after finishing university.
In late 2006 I moved to London to work for a startup called Gottabet, which later became bragster (now Guinness World Records Challengers).
At the end of 2008 I co-founded Made with Chopsticks, working on a mix of consultancy and in-house projects, including consulting as a designer at Gumtree.com.
Photographer
I started taking photos in 2004 when I got a Fujifilm FinePix S5000 for my birthday. Since then, the photography bug has hit hard and I've loaded my flickr account with over 5,500 photos and counting.
My photography is largely focused on landscape and architecture, with the odd bit of motorsport and travel photography thrown in for good measure.
I recently launched a new site just for my photography: adamperfect.com. Be sure to check it out!
This site
This site is my personal blog, where I alternate not writing anything for a few months with writing about design and technology or posting photographs I'm particularly proud of (the photos are now moving to adamperfect.com).
I relaunched it in March 2010 with its first ever 'proper' design: one that took more than a couple of hours building. I even custom-wrote a new blogging system in Ruby on Rails for it, to allow for every article to have its own style and behaviour should I so wish.
Supersonic Feet?
The name came when I was thinking up band names with one of my brothers (I don't have a band, it just came up). It was so silly I apparently decided to register the domain name and use it for my blog.
